
Country Style Omelette
Hearty, rustic omelette packed with vegetables, cheese, and herbs. This American-style omelette is thicker and more substantial than its French counterpart, perfect for a filling breakfast or brunch.

Beat eggs with milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined and slightly frothy.

Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a 9-10 inch non-stick or well-seasoned skillet over medium heat.

Add diced onion and bell pepper to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add sliced mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes until they release their moisture and begin to brown.

Add remaining butter to the pan and let it melt around the vegetables.

Pour the beaten egg mixture over the vegetables, tilting the pan to distribute evenly.
